Pioneer Slot Car P087 Dodge Charger Shotgun Wedding Bullitt Edition Very Rare

P087 PIONEER "SHOTGUN WEDDING" DODGE CHARGER, Bullitt ‘50’ Special Edition.

Here is a white paint version of the Dodge Charger R/T, in a ‘just for fun’ edition produced in a nicely done 'BULLITT 50' theme called "Shotgun Wedding".

Just a few each of these models were supplied to main dealers in the larger trade packs of Bullitt ‘50’ models. There is a white sticker to the front face of the picture sleeve that says: ‘Shotgun Wedding Rental Car’. Approximately 200 of them have been produced.

A fuller ‘explanation’ of this model is perhaps best said by Pioneer like this:-

"This is the Assassins' spare car and it was used mainly at the weekends when they would hire themselves out for weddings (if the bride needs the ultimate protection) or if the groom's been a bad boy! This sideline activity of their Hit Man business had to be closed in late 1968 after both guys met a deservedly nasty end after a somewhat explosive time in a gas station off a California highway."
